What's New on the MG Site?

New pest of avocado, California Live Oak...

The Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer, a tiny beetle that drills into trees, has been found in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.  It brings with it a fungus (Fusarium sp.) that infects the trees.

It attacks a wide range of trees, including Avocado, California Live Oak, California Sycamore, Liquidambar, and others.
